SHLUCHOS PROGRAM - Girls Grade 10

“Mivtzoim across america”

An inspiring “travel” program geared specifically to tenth graders to ignite hidden sparks from within, provide direction, memories, as well as an in depth understanding of the world of Shlichus.

The program provides an educational, fun filled, unforgettable experience. Under the leadership of an enthusiastic and professional staff, the program affords the girls the opportunity to experience the unique qualities which reflect the individual personalities and talents of the Shluchim within each Chabad House along the West Coast.

 The girls spend the day touring, hiking, and site seeing. In the evenings, they are inspired by the dedicated Shluchim and Shluchos, from individuals who are “on the front lines”and who spend time clarifying Shlichus in general and the specific opportunities such a way of life provides. The program is a singular balance of adventurous outings and inspirational lessons.  In addition, the program encourages our teenagers to befriend and bond with girls their own age from the world over. Spending a month together forms a long lasting bond. By the month’s end each girl cares for her friends as she would for her own sister.

The Traveling Shluchos Program is truly an experience that campers and counselors alike find unforgettable.
