travel program (Crown Edition).jpg

This special program was created by, and coordinated for many years by, Rabbi Shaya Gansbourg, ז"ל. The trip continues l’iluy nishmaso. The Camp Emunah 10th Grade Traveling Shluchos Program is coordinated and supervised by Mrs. Leah Hecht, and was started under the leadership of Rebbetzin Hecht ז"ל .

Discover the Traveling Shluchos Program: An Unforgettable Adventure for 10th Grade Girls at Camp Emunah While many camps are fixed in one beautiful destination, the Traveling Shluchos Program is truly special—it's a moving journey where you start up north on the West Coast and travel south each day, exploring incredible places all the way down to southern California and even into Mexico! Along the way, your daughter will have exciting trips to look forward to: whitewater rafting, sand dunes, sailing, mountain climbing and rock climbing, tourist attractions, theme parks, alpine sliding, and so much more—breathtaking scenic views that make every day an adventure. What sets this program apart most is the unique opportunity at each stop: your daughter will meet and interact with Shluchim and Shluchos in varied communities across the West Coast—large ones and small, remote ones. She'll hear directly from them and their Chabad House participants about their community and local Jewish life. And the absolute highlight? Spending an amazing, uplifting Shabbos with these special communities! Each day kicks off with Davening and learning, then the girls interact with the local Shluchim before heading out to the unique touring and fun activities in that city. This is a real eye-opening experience for 10th grade girls. The Traveling Shluchos literally join the Rebbe's army of Shluchim across the West Coast. They learn firsthand how the Rebbe's Shluchim live in communities so different from the comfort of a big, observant one back home. How do these Shluchim manage it every single day while still staying strong Chassidim? How do they devote every minute to caring for others and building Jewish communities in far-off places? Combine all this inspiration with those incredible trips, stunning views, delicious meals, and a devoted staff who make it all happen. We truly hope your daughter's time in this program will plant seeds for her to follow a similar path of shlichus in her future life. We can't wait for your daughter to join this rigorous, super enjoyable, and exceptionally inspiring summer program!
